Overview
Qujing lies in eastern Yunnan, around 130 kilometres east of the provincial capital Kunming.
Jingning Pagoda is a hilltop tower visible from most of the city, and the park entrance is on Liaokuo South Road. Tiansheng Cave, in Zhanyi District along the Z014 road, is a park built around a very large cave lit with coloured lights. Emerald Mountain Film and TV Set is a film location doubling as a theme park, with a road of roughly 4km up to its summit. Qilin Water Town in Yanjiang Subdistrict is a wetland park with walking trails and boat rides. The permanent displays of the city museum include the source of the Pearl River, Cuan culture and the history of eastern Yunnan.

- Qujing Bus Station sends a bus to Kunming every half hour, a journey of about three hours.
