The city makes over 70% of the footballs produced worldwide.
Sialkot Fort, among the oldest forts in Pakistan, was first built by Raja Sálbán in the 2nd century CE. Sialkot Cathedral, in the cantonment area, was consecrated in 1857. Iqbal Manzil on Iqbal Rd is the birthplace of Pakistan's national poet and holds a museum and a library. Marala Headworks on the Chenab River is a popular picnic spot. The best-known landmark of Sialkot is a century-old clock tower in Saddar Bazar.
