Shanghai Pudong International Airport lies further out at 34.1 km but handles a large share of international arrivals. A third option, Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, sits considerably further away at 97.7 km and is a less practical choice for most visitors.

Shanghai itself lies just 2.5 km away, effectively on Puxi's doorstep, making it the obvious extension to any visit. Baoshan is a short hop at 18.4 km, while Songjiang, at 32.8 km, offers a slightly longer excursion.
